- How do I open an account?
Click on icon “Open an account” fill in your details. Print and sign the form, attach all mandatory documents as stipulated on page xxx of the selected Agreement.
Send all documents by post to the nearest branch of Monex Investindo Futures. Our compliance department will verify all contents, upon approval your will receive wiring instructions to fund your account. - Is Monex Investindo Futures’ Agreement form available in different languages?
At the moment the Agreement form is available in Indonesian language
- What is the minimum deposit to open an account?
The minimum to open forex account is Rp.50.000.000,- which is equivalent USD 5.000 and the minimum to open index account is Rp.50.000.000,- which is equivalent USD 5.000
- Is mini account available?
We provide only standard account.
- How do I funding my account?
Monex Investindo Futures can only accept funds that have been wired from an account that carries the name of the client. Please see the following wiring instruction.
- How do I withdraw my money?
Just fax us withdrawal form and we will wire the funds to your bank account which registered in Agreement.
- Do you accept credit card or cheques?
We accept wire transfer only.
- Can I transfer funds from my account to account of another client?
No, it is forbidden to transfer funds between different client’s accounts and third parties
- Does Monex Investindo Futures pay interest on the outstanding balance?
No because it is a trading account not a bank account.
- Where can I download Monex Trader?
Please fill up the demo sign-up form once completed you will receive notice to download Monex Trader.
- Can I install Monex trader on Mac?
Monex Trader supported only windows Operating systems
- Does the platform support mobile trading such as PDA or Smartphone?
Yes, Monex mobile trader can be using on windows mobile operating systems
- Can I change my password?
Yes, on menu bar click Tools > Options > Server tab > change.
The password successfully changed if the windows change passwords disappear after execution and meets the password criteria also. - What is investor password?
The investor password for view only purpose in other words, you can not trade if you login using investor password.
- What is phone password?
We provide phone trade service for clients whom having a problem could not login to their accounts. There phone trade etiquette to follow
- How do I get a demo account?
Please fill up the demo sign-up form once completed you will receive notice to download Monex Trader.
- How long is the demo account active?
You can try our trading environment in 30 days
- Can we use Expert Advisor?
We enabled Expert Advisor functionality on demo account too.
- Can we use Trailing stop?
Yes, this option enabled too
- What if I need to extend my demo account?
You can not but you can create another demo account by click File > Open an account.
- Do you provide news?
You can see real-time news money market provide by DowJones newswire on live account.
- I have opened an account. How do I login and start trading?
You will notice by email with login, password, investor password and phone password. Please follow the steps below
- Open Monex Trader, click File > Login and entry your login and password in login and password fields.
- On Server field select Monex Server.
- Click Login button.
- How do I know my transaction history?
All transaction will be recorded and sends to account’s email at the end of day.
- I want to trade but I can not login to server. What should I do?
In case having problem with internet connection, you may call us with trading etiquette for phone trading.
- Can I use Expert Advisor or Trailing stop?
Yes, absolutely.
- I have login to server but I can not do any trade. What happened?
Be sure that you are entering password not investor password when login to server.
- That chart windows say “Waiting for update” what should I do?
- Close that chart window and reopen by right click mouse on selected symbol then select Chart window or
- Click on symbol and drag into the chart window.
- I can not do any trade, the message is “Trade Context is busy”
Close your application and re-login.
- I received message “Off Quotes” when try to trade on specific symbol.
Check for trade session of the product.
- Once I trade I got message “re-quote” Why?
It caused by the price on the server differ/changed compare to client side. This message will occur for some reasons, such as
- Market movement
- Slow internet connection
- My Internet connection is fine but I can not login to server.
There are possible reasons, which are
- Port blocking, consult with your technician to unblock port 443
- Internet issue, check with your internet provider for connection to US region.
- Is there a user guide for Monex Trader?
Yes, on the platform select Help > Help Topic.
- Can I change the time?
No, The time displayed on Monex Trader is using the server time which is GMT +2
- Can I change the language used?
On Menu Bar select View > Languages then restart Monex Trader

- My demo account expires, how do I create a new one?
- On the Monex Trader select File > Open an Account

Right click on Market watch > Symbols > [type of securities] > click Show/Hide button.
- How to display/hide High/Low on Market watch?

- How to display Candlestick Chart?
On Menu Bar select Charts > Candlestick Chart or press Alt+2

Make sure the file is .mql format, assuming the installation folder is C:\Program Files\Monex Trader\ and the steps are follows
- Save the file into the following folder C:\Program Files\Monex Trader\expert\indicators\
- Restart Monex Trader
- On Menu Bar select Insert > Indicators > Custom
- How do I insert Trendlines or other line studies?
You can do it in 2 ways
- On Menu Bar select Inserr
- On Menu Bar select View > Toolbars > Line Studies then icons will appear next to Menu Bar
- I want each time I start Monex Trader it load my Chart settings
